I would like to thank Susie and Murray from the bottom of my heart for all they did to make My Husbands surprise 50th the best weekend ever en-counted, Yes between Susie and I, the Secrets between emails we pulled off the most amazing Surprise 50th for my Husband, The fabulous camp oven dinner, Damper, Saturday 16th May 2014 was enjoyed by all our guest’s Of course the live entertainment by Samson James had all of us using our vocal chords was just fantastic, My daughter Casey rixon and her fantastic rendition of Travelling soldier is the New “Your the voice” winner for 2014, we had the most amazing Breakfast on Sunday 17th May 2014, Eggs, Sausages with fabulous home made rissoles, Pancakes all home made, our young visitors from Sydney could not believe that on arrival, there Jacaranda house was lit up and keys on the table, The boys loved the inside and with the 8 Young Adults that share this are still talking about the amazing atmosphere and amount of work you Susie and Murray have put into this wonderful hide away. they had never seen such beauty as Alberton B&B, all our other guest could not stop commenting on the rooms and services provided by Susie and Murray this will always be our little haven and will always return with our Kayaks (although they did not touch the water) for what we now know to be our private get away. Thank You Susie and Murray, Logan and Albert. Fantastic place ever encountered.

Had a most wonderful stay, 2 nights & 2 days…with beaut weather for our golf game at Mt Warren Park nearby & for our strolls around the property (marvelous set up) & short tours around the local area. Our hosts Susie & Murray are a delight & we enjoyed their company & conversation. Appreciated the fresh farm eggs & home cooked biscuits provided as a goodwill gesture. Our accommodation was all we had hoped & more. A rustic look but with all the features of a good motel. Lots of wild & domestic animal & bird stock on hand to complete the “farm look”, plus Albert & Logan the “guard dogs of distinction”. Look forward to seeing the completed B.U.S. (Bloody Ugly Shed) on our next visit (will the Tawny Frogmouth still be in residence?). Give the “herd” a pat from us (if you’re game). Keep well you two…best wishes

I spent five days staying with Murray and Susie and I can’t thank them enough! Such a beautiful,peaceful place,I loved sitting on the verandah in the evenings watching the kangaroos and sitting on the pontoon fishing it was just so relaxing.The room was fabulous and had everything I needed and they were more than happy to answer any questions I had.
Will defiantely be returning in the very near future and I have no problem at all recommending it to anyone.
After speaking to Suzie on the phone about a weekends accommodation, I jokingly said that maybe I should fly our plane into the nearby Heckfield airstrip rather than drive the 31/2 hours. With enthusiasm she said she was happy to come and pick us up and lend us a vehicle for the weekend, and drive us back to the airfield after our stay. Both Murray and Suzie made our weekend truly and enjoyable one and their helpfulness and hospitality second to none. The accommodation is comfortable and relaxing. We will certainly be looking forward to another weekend with such lovely hosts.
No better olace to stay anywhere near Mount Warren. Spacious studio apartments, cooking facilities, dead quiet at night, super friendly hosts. Our third time, probably not our last.
We spent New Years with Murray and Susie, the accommodation was beautiful and felt very homey. We were looked after extremely well. The wildlife around the apartments was a real treat. We will definitely be back.
This was the most relaxing week-end we had in years.
Beautiful, HUGE room plus big, quiet and private verandah… In short, the word “RELAX” is written all over the Alberton B & B.
Both Susie and Murray are the nicest, most helpful and accommodating hosts I have seen.
(Even Logan and Albert – the dogs – are cool!)
Easy to get to and with easy access to the river, we’ll be back to the Alberton B&B for sure!
